Move well, breathe well retreat day

A day of functional breathe work and movement at the Yoga Space in Studland with lunch provided by Love Cake in Swanage. 

 

Nicki taught attendees how to breathe functionally with her Oxygen Advantage knowledge  and movement to help them connect with their body and move better.

4 week in person breath work course in Swanage

From 19:00 to 20:00

Cost: £60 pp

Venue: Swanage location to be confirmed

This 4 week course is for runners, cyclists and any endurance athletes - this is for all abilities if you want to improve your overall performance and become a more resilient athlete.

 

You will be taught the 2 pillars of Oxygen advantage 

  • Functional Breathing Pattern training

  • Stimulation of Altitude training 

​

Benefits of functional breathing training:

  • Improve blood circulation and oxygen deliver to the cells

  • Reduce the onset and endurance of breathless ness

  • Maximises Vagal tone

  • Improves Sleep, focus, concentration and calm

  • Improves function and posture and spinal stabilisation

  • Improves Functional movement to reduce the risk of injury

​

Stimulation of altitude training:

  • Improves aerobic capabilities 

  • Stimulates aerobic capacity

  • Increases VO2 max and running economy

  • Increases maximum tolerance  to breathlessness

  • Improve respiratory muscle strength 

  • Helps maintain fitness during rest or injury

  • Reduce ventilatory response to hypercapnia and hypoxia

Breath & Be Retreat Day: A day of breath work and mindfulness

From 10:00 to 16:00

Cost: £130 pp

Venue: Woodsmoke, Grange Rd, Wareham, BH20 5DG

Slow down, connect with your breath & embrace the practice of being this Autumn.

 

Retreat for the day to the country side in Wareham where we will share our knowledge and practices with you.

 

During this retreat you will learn functional breath work with Nicki - breath lighter, slower and deeper and experience vast benefits of breathing better. Optimising your overall wellbeing & connecting with your body.

 

Sophie will teach you the beautiful practice of meditation through mindfulness techniques, mantra and a deeply nourishing and relaxing Yoga Nidra Meditation practice to finish. Helping you to connect with your mind, body, heart and soul.
